How do Neuromodulators injections work?
In order to treat fine lines on the face, neuromodulators are injected into the dominant muscles that help form expressions, which relaxes them. Neuromodulators block the normal flow of neurotransmission. Once injected, it prevents the muscles from contracting, smoothing out the facial lines and wrinkles. Neuromodulators helps soften severe facial expressions and create a more youthful, refreshed look.
This depends on the treated area and how active the muscles are, but in general, the Botulinum toxin injections will need to be repeated every 3-4 months. Fillers can last from 6 months to 2 years depending on the area treated and product used.
