Facial fillers are used to plump up lips and cheeks, and “fill in” or smooth problematic areas of the face, which appear wrinkled and tend to make a person look older than his or her actual years. To achieve this, we use Hyaluronic acid based injectable fillers, such as Juvederm, Teosyal, and Restylane are available to our patients.

What is Botox

BOTOX® Cosmetic is a highly purified botulinum toxin protein refined from the bacterium, Clostridium botulinum. This protein acts to temporarily reduce muscle activity by preventing nerve endings from stimulating their muscle fibres.

Botox Versus Filler

Depending on the area to be treated, either BOTOX® or Juvederm will be used.
