Natural looking, scarless Breast Augmentation through the armpit.
The armpit approach to Breast Augmentation, known as the Trans-Axillary Breast Augmentation, is the favorite method for breast enlargement at SixSurgery . It is a technique that allows the SixSurgery team to precisely and beautifully position a breast implant under a woman’s chest muscle without causing much disturbance to her breast.
Once fully healed, the operative scars are essentially invisible in the armpit, undetectable to the naked eye. No other person will be able to see the scars, let alone realize that a breast implant was inserted through them. Trans-Axillary Breast Augmentation has all the positives: the implant is placed under the muscle, the resultant breast shape is precisely controlled – with natural, feminine contours, both saline and silicone breast implants can be used, and there is no scar left on the breast.
Benefits of Trans-Axillary Breast Augmentation
No scar on or under the breast.
Scar often blends into the armpit crease and is very hard to detect.
Usually the least visible of augmentation scars.
No muscle is cut, only natural tissue planes are opened up to insert the implant.
No breast tissue is injured and there is therefore no possible effect on breastfeeding.
Implants can be inserted under the chest muscle (sub-muscular or sub-pectoral).
Lower risk of bottoming out ( unfavorable downward movement of implant )
Lower risk of Capsular Contracture (undesirable implant hardening)
Less visible implant rippling/wrinkling (further information is given here)
Mammograms are easier to read ( the implant is not directly behind the breast tissue )

Morning After Surgery Follow-up
If you are staying at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel, a nurse will come to your room and check up on you at, The nurse will do her assessment, go over your medications and post op instructions. Additional costs for the hotel do apply. If you choose to go over after surgery, the nurse will be in contact with you to ensure your night went smoothly, and go over post op instructions.
You will have a compression band applied over the top of your new breast implants, pushing them downward. You will be given instructions on breast implant massage. Breast implants and swelling tend to sit high on your chest initially after surgery. Through the use of this band and breast massage, you will slowly massage your new implants into their proper position. Our staff will also give you instructions on where you can get your own surgical bra(s), or alternatively, you can order them through our office.
You will be cleared to go home in your pre-arranged transport.
